wow...

Three years have gone by since I started this blog, and in that time I have only posted one thing. Who I am.

A lot of things have happened in that time. Some things have been added. A few taken away.

We lost our house.

We took an 18 month sabbatical from the Wet Coast.
Stopping in Louisiana for a short time before we travelled north to Oklahoma. It was nice connecting with my husbands family in the midwest. Been missing my in laws.
Crazy right?
Supposed to detest the Monster in Law....

More like my Mother in Love.
I adore that woman.
She taught me how to knit.
How to quilt.
That you could do more with fabric then sew it.
How to take a run down hovel and with a little bit of creativity make it into a home that your Hubby is proud of, pleased to come home to.
I learned from her what it means to actually love your Hubby...
and of course she is the vessel through which The Leprechaun gained life AND HE IS FREAKIN AWESOME

So yeah. My Mother in Love.

But I am glad to be back on the Wet Coast. I swear I musta been a Selkie in a previous life. Can't take me too far from the cold northern seas before my soul begins to ache.
